Job summary

BDO India is seeking a candidate for Risk Advisory Services in Real Estate/Mining/Power & Utilities/Construction/ Renewable Energy. The role involves leading internal audit tasks, evaluating controls, and advising on governance and risk management across projects in India. CA/MBA with 1.5–3 years' experience is preferred.

Travel within India may be required, and you will be part of a growing team across 14 cities.

Qualifications

• CA Qualified or MBA with risk advisory exposure.
• 1.5–3 years of relevant experience in Risk Advisory Services.
• Experience in Real Estate/Metal & Mining/Power & Utilities/Construction/Renewable Energy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently executing assignments or monitoring assignments including reviews of systems and internal controls.
• Re-engineer processes and document SOPs and Enterprise Risk Management.
• Ensure timely delivery meeting quality guidelines.
• Coach and train juniors to build technical proficiency.
• Develop client relationships through existing contacts and marketing efforts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Travel within and outside city to meet client needs.

Experience and Qualification:

• CA Qualified / MBA
• 1.5 - 3 years of relevant experience into Risk Advisory Services - Real Estate/Metal and Mining/Power and Utilities/Construction/Renewable Energy).

Core Internal Audit Roles & Responsibilities:

• Independently executing assignments (if required) or monitoring the assignments (Typical assignments comprise of conducting reviews of systems, internal controls -Internal Audit and Internal financial controls, re-engineering processes, documentation of Standard Operating Procedures, Enterprise Risk Management).
• Delivering expected profitability by utilization of the Team deployed on the project.
• Effectively delivering tasks on projects as guided by the management team.
• Meeting quality guidelines within the established turnaround time.
• Assisting team members in developing technical and professional competency. Coach and train the subordinates.
• Prospecting for new business by using the client relationships.
• Building client relationships via past associations or by active marketing efforts.
• Ensuring compliances to company’s or organization’s policies and procedures.
• Travelling within and outside the city as necessary to meet client needs.
