Job summary

BDO India is seeking a skilled Risk Advisory professional to join its Internal Audit practice in Kolkata. CA/MBA candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience in risk, controls and governance will fit well.

You will work on reviews of systems and internal controls, assist in process re-engineering, document procedures, and support client relationships while traveling as needed. This role offers exposure to diverse industries and growth within a global network.

Qualifications

• CA Qualified or MBA with relevant experience in Risk Advisory Services (Non BFSI).
• 1–3 years of experience in Risk Advisory Services across Manufacturing/Real Estate/Retail/Hospitality/Health Care/Service/Media/Technology and others.

Responsibilities

• Independently executing assignments or monitoring assignments including reviews of systems and internal controls.
• Delivering profitability through team utilization on projects and meeting quality guidelines within turnaround times.
• Assisting team members, coaching subordinates, and developing technical and professional competency.
• Prospecting for new business by leveraging client relationships and building new client links.

Experience and Qualification:

• CA Qualified / MBA
• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience into Risk Advisory Services -Non BFSI Sector (Manufacturing /Real Estate/Retail/Hospitality/Health Care/Service/Media/Technology and others).

Core Internal Audit Roles & Responsibilities:

• Independently executing assignments (if required) or monitoring the assignments (Typical assignments comprise of conducting reviews of systems, internal controls -Internal Audit and Internal financial controls, re-engineering processes, documentation of Standard Operating Procedures, Enterprise Risk Management).
• Delivering expected profitability by utilization of the Team deployed on the project.
• Effectively delivering tasks on projects as guided by the management team.
• Meeting quality guidelines within the established turnaround time.
• Assisting team members in developing technical and professional competency. Coach and train the subordinates.
• Prospecting for new business by using the client relationships.
• Building client relationships via past associations or by active marketing efforts.
• Ensuring compliances to company’s or organization’s policies and procedures.
• Travelling within and outside the city as necessary to meet client needs.
