Job summary

American Express is seeking a product designer to create user-centered experiences and interfaces for our products. You will develop the overall design and specifications for UI, ensuring the end-to-end experience is intuitive and aligned with business goals.

Using tools like Figma, you will produce storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, information architecture diagrams and journey maps for demonstrations and testing, and deliver high‑fidelity designs for implementation by developers.

Qualifications

• Has at least 5 years of hands-on experience in product design.
• Proficient in Figma and design tools.
• Understands user-centered design methodologies, research and processes.
• Proactive, energetic communicator with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Creates user-centered experiences and interfaces for products and solutions which improves end-to-end user journeys.

Develops the overall design and specifications for creating and enhancing the experience and functionality of user interfaces for company products.

Uses design tools to create storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, information architecture diagrams and user journey maps for demonstrations and user testing.

Produces high-fidelity designs for implementation by development teams.

Analyze user research, business insights and other data to continuously improve customer experience.

Reviews of proposed product changes or enhancements for compliance and alignment with desired user experience design and satisfaction standards and suggestions for improvements.

Creates and maintains UI/UX resources such as content templates, samples and guidelines, to streamline the design process for designers and developers.
