Job summary

alliantgroup India Talent Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad is seeking a Level 2 SOC Analyst to monitor, analyze, and triage security alerts. You will configure and manage security devices, collaborate with L3 and other teams, and review incident responses to protect client environments.

The role requires hands-on incident handling experience, strong log analysis skills, and familiarity with IOCs/TTPs. On-site Hyderabad position with opportunities to work on US client projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in incident handling and reporting.
• Able to analyze security alerts and logs for context and risk.
• Strong collaboration with L1/L3 and other teams to investigate threats.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and analyzing security alerts escalated by L1 analysts.
• Deep analysis of alerts filtered by L1 Analysts; check for false positives and duplicates.
• Perform analysis of log files to collect contextual information to triage threats.
• Review manual/semi-automated incident response outputs.
• Security device configuration and management (FW, IDS/IPS, WAF, Proxies).
• Collaborate with L3 and other technical teams to investigate new IOCs and TTPs.
• Analyze and administer security logs and events to identify risks.
• Refer to use case documents for identified threats and steps.

Roles& Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and analyzingof security alerts escalated by L1 analysts
• Deep analysis of thealerts filtered by L1 Analysts, Check for falsepositive & duplicates
• Perform analysis oflog files to collect more contextual information to triage the security threat
• Review manual/semi-automated incident response outputs
• Security Device Configuration and Management (FW, IDS/IPS, WAF, Proxies etc.)
• Collaboration with L3 and other technical teams to investigate new IOCs andTTPs
• Analyze and Administrate security related logs and events via consoleactivity to determine cause of security related events or to identify potentialsecurity related risks.
• Referring use case document for identified threats and performing steps asmentioned in the document
• Work with relevant level support team and follow it up to closure
• Follow change management and problem management process wherever linked andcoordinate till restoration of service.
• Continuously updated of any online attack campaign and extracting IOCs toblock in security tools.
• Tracks the incidenttill closure to ensure incidents are resolved within agreed SLAs.
• Providing mitigationsteps to resolve security incidents
• Co-ordinating withdevice owners and suggesting plan of actions to them for mitigation ofincidents
• VulnerabilityRemediation tracking for all vulnerabilities and reporting in accordance withCustomer format/standard
• Regularly review andalign priority, severity, and classification of security incidents.
• Work with L1 toprovide them on the job training to handle complex tasks
• The resource must haveextensive experience in incident handling and reporting.
