Job summary

Pratham in New Delhi is seeking a Senior Associate – Graphic Designer to join our Communications team. You will design visually compelling materials for print and digital platforms, ensuring alignment with our brand identity and organizational goals.

You will work with the Lead – Design and program teams to produce work that communicates effectively with diverse audiences, supports outreach, and stays on-brand across all materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant professional design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Canva is a plus.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
• Knowledge of user-centered design and visual communication principles.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail with a creative and proactive mindset.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Willingness to travel to program locations and offices when required.

Responsibilities

• Understand Pratham’s programs, goals, and audiences to create designs aligned with strategy.
• Design creative assets for print and digital media, including brochures, reports, social media posts, presentations, infographics, and more.
• Translate complex concepts into clear, visually engaging stories.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency.
• Maintain adherence to design guidelines and branding standards across all materials.
• Prepare final artwork for print production and coordinate with vendors when required.
• Stay updated on design trends, tools, and techniques.
• Contribute ideas in brainstorming, campaign planning, and content reviews.
• Manage and update website design and pages in a timely manner.

Role Overview

The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Lead – Design, Communications and collaborate with various program and state teams to produce designs that communicate effectively with diverse audiences and enhance Pratham’s outreach.
