Job summary

PwC is seeking a GenAI and Agentic AI Engineer for its Advisory team in Bengaluru. You will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions atop Java microservices and cloud-native stacks, ensuring secure, scalable AI systems and governance.

The role blends agentic AI engineering with modern backend practices to deliver production-ready solutions, contributing to end-to-end application layers and handling RAG, LLMs, and safety considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience 4 to 7 years in GenAI/Agentic AI roles.
• Strong background in Python and async programming.
• Familiarity with LangChain, RAG, and LLM APIs.

Drive the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions built on a strong foundation of Java microservices, cloud-native architecture, and secure, scalable platforms. The role blends Agentic AI engineering with modern backend engineering practices to deliver production-ready, resilient, and governed AI systems, along with the ability to contribute to end-to-end application layers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement autonomous agents using LangChain / Crew.ai / SK / Autogen and other relevant frameworks

• Hands-on experience with: Building and deploying autonomous agents LangChain framework for developing applications Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems Large Language Models (LLMs) and their APIs Solid understanding of safety principles and best practices Resolving hallucinations in the outcomes

Mandatory Skill sets

• Advanced Python programming with expertise in async programming and API developmenT
• Experience with vector databases and embedding models
• Proficiency in implementing RAG pipelines and knowledge retrieval systems
