Job summary

JPMorganChase in India seeks a Project Manager/Business Analyst to lead the design, testing, and implementation of a strategic risk management system for Equity Derivatives.

You will partner with Operations, Technology, Product Development, and Front Office to translate business needs into controlled, scalable delivery, with cross-regional coverage on an 11:30 pm-7:30 am IST shift and stretch hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Equity Derivatives products, front-to-back processes, and system infrastructure.
• Apply hands-on experience with risk management systems, including trade capture, trade lifecycle management.
• Leverage business analysis, data analysis, and problem-solving skills to address operational and technical issues.
• Communicate exceptionally well in writing and verbally to build trust across regions and functions.
• Operate as a self-motivated contributor with minimal supervision.
• Practice agile methodologies, design thinking, and structured problem solving in delivery.
• Bring 10+ years of investment banking experience and a degree in Finance/Economics (or related).

• Deliver a multi-year, complex risk management system migration for the Equity Derivatives business.
• Scope current-state workflows and define project boundaries, milestones, and outcomes.
• Elicit business requirements across trade capture, trade lifecycle management, and related processes.
• Analyze operational and technical issues to identify root causes and propose actionable solutions.
• Document requirements, process flows, and control impacts clearly for global stakeholders.
• Adopt agile ways of working to drive continuous improvement in efficiency, control, and user experience.
• Drive testing execution, defect triage, and timely remediation in a controlled manner.
• Partner with Operations, Technology, Product Development, and Front Office to align on delivery and decisions.
• Provide regular updates, risks, and dependencies to maintain engagement across the project lifecycle.
• Own assigned initiatives end-to-end while operating effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ensure delivery quality in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment.

• Exhibit deep understanding of trade lifecycle controls, operational risk, and change management impacts.
• Strengthen delivery through structured test strategy, UAT coordination, and defect management discipline.
• Maintain resilience and decision-making quality under tight timelines and shifting priorities.
• Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.
