Join the Equities Operations Transformation Team in India and help shape how the Equity Derivatives business manages risk globally. This role offers high-impact ownership across strategy, delivery, and stakeholder partnership in a fast-paced environment. You’ll drive meaningful change across systems, processes, and controls while working with teams across regions.

Job Summary:

As a Project Manager/Business Analyst within the Equities Operations Transformation Team, you will lead the design, testing, and implementation of a strategic risk management system for the Equity Derivatives business globally. You will partner closely with Operations, Technology, Product Development, and Front Office to translate business needs into controlled, scalable delivery. You will provide cross-regional coverage on an 11:30 pm–7:30 am IST shift, with flexibility for stretch hours as required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver a multi-year, complex risk management system migration for the Equity Derivatives business.
• Scope current-state workflows and define project boundaries, milestones, and outcomes.
• Elicit business requirements across trade capture, trade lifecycle management, and related processes.
• Analyze operational and technical issues to identify root causes and propose actionable solutions.
• Document requirements, process flows, and control impacts clearly for global stakeholders.
• Adopt agile ways of working to drive continuous improvement in efficiency, control, and user experience.
• Drive testing execution, defect triage, and timely remediation in a controlled manner.
• Partner with Operations, Technology, Product Development, and Front Office to align on delivery and decisions.
• Provide regular updates, risks, and dependencies to maintain engagement across the project lifecycle.
• Own assigned initiatives end-to-end while operating effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ensure delivery quality in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Equity Derivatives products, front-to-back processes, and system infrastructure.
• Apply hands-on experience with risk management systems, including trade capture, trade management, and lifecycles.
• Leverage business analysis, data analysis, and problem-solving skills to address operational and technical issues.
• Communicate exceptionally well in writing and verbally to build trust across regions and functions.
• Operate as a self-motivated contributor who delivers effectively with minimal supervision.
• Practice agile methodologies, design thinking, and structured problem solving in delivery.
• Bring 10+ years of investment banking experience (Middle Office/Trade Support/Project Management) and a degree in Finance/Economics (or related).

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• Lead global, cross-functional deliveries spanning Operations and Technology stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong project governance, RAID management, and stakeholder influence across senior audiences.
• Show advanced proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, qTest, and project management tooling.
• Exhibit deep understanding of trade lifecycle controls, operational risk, and change management impacts.
• Strengthen delivery through structured test strategy, UAT coordination, and defect management discipline.
• Maintain resilience and decision-making quality under tight timelines and shifting priorities.
• Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.
