Job summary

HBK CONNECT in India seeks a Senior Audit Associate to join our US Audit practice. You will execute and supervise external audit engagements for US-based clients, ensuring compliance with applicable auditing and accounting standards.

Work with global engagement teams, develop industry expertise, and contribute to delivering high-quality audit and assurance services. 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in external audit preferred, with Big 4 or multinational background advantageous.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA or CPA with 3–5 years post-qualification external audit experience.
• Experience with Big 4, mid-tier firms, GCCs, or multinational organizations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAS, US GAAP, and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise external/statutory audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Plan, perform, and review audit procedures in accordance with US GAAS and US GAAP.
• Identify and assess audit risks and evaluate internal controls.
• Research and resolve accounting, auditing, and financial reporting issues.
• Prepare and review audit documentation, workpapers, and financial statement disclosures.
• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines while maintaining audit quality.
• Coordinate with global engagement teams for seamless audit execution.
• Review work performed by junior team members and provide guidance and mentoring.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience
