Job Description

The SD MM consultant isresponsible for the design, configuration and deployment of SAP SD and MMsolutions. The role ensures end-to-end implementation, supporting globaltemplate roll outs, and optimizing business processes through effectivestakeholder collaboration, fit-to-standard approaches, and seamless integrationwith other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design,configure and deploy SAP SD and MM solutions, including extensiveconfiguration (SPRO) across key processes.
• Ensure end-to-endimplementations, support, and global template roll outs, across multipleregions and business units.
• Configureprocesses in SD (pricing, billing, shipping, partner determination, creditmanagement) and MM (procurement, inventory, valuation, release strategies).
• Drive discussionswith business stakeholders and translating requirements into effective SAPsolutions.
• Performfit-gap analysis and align solutions with SAP best practices towards afit-to-standard approach.
• IntegrateSD/MM with FI/CO, WM/EWM, and PP for seamless end-to-end process flows.
• Manage configuration,SIT/UAT testing, defect resolution, and production support
• Assistwith data migration (Migration Cockpit/LSMW) and master data management
• Stakeholdermanagement and leading solution design and process improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills:

• Hands on experience with SAP SD and MM.
• Hands onexperience in Integrating SD/MM with FI/CO, WW/EWM and PP.
• Experiencein configuration, SIT/UAT testing, defect resolution and productionsupport.
• Technicalunderstanding of IDocs, EDI, APIs, middleware (SAP CPI/PI/PO), andsystem integrations.
• Goodunderstanding of SAP data structures, tables, and system architecture.
• Experience in data migration (Migration Cockpit/LSMW) and master data management.
• Activelyinvolved in design workshops, driving discussions with business stakeholdersand translating requirements into effective SAP solutions.

Requirements

Preferred Skills:

• Strong stakeholder management and ability to lead solutiondesigns and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fit-to-Standard methodologies is highly desirable.

Qualification: Bachelor’sdegree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,Information Technology, Commerce, or related discipline.

MBA (Operations/Supply Chain) preferred.
