Job summary

Weekday 1 is seeking a Senior Architect in Bengaluru to lead architectural design development for high-rise residential projects. You will ensure the architectural intent is beautifully conceived and buildable, coordinating with structural, MEP and landscape consultants.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, a B.Arch, and expert AutoCAD and BIM proficiency. You will guide junior staff, review drawings, and participate in client presentations to deliver quality GFC packages.

• High-rise residential experience mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design development for assigned projects.

The Senior Architect drives the architectural design of projects — from design development through construction documentation. This role requires both design sensibility and technical rigour, ensuring that the architectural intent is beautifully conceived and precisely buildable.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design development for assigned projects
• Prepare and review architectural drawings — plans, sections, elevations, and details
• Develop construction documentation packages — GFC drawings, schedules, specifications
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants for design integration
• Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals for architectural elements
• Conduct site visits to verify architectural execution quality
• Guide and review work of junior architects and draftspersons in the team
• Participate in client design presentations and respond to design queries
