Job summary

A global leader in technical consulting is seeking an experienced Architect to lead complex architectural projects from concept through construction. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture, be a licensed architect, and possess at least 10 years of experience in architectural design. Proficiency in tools like Revit and AutoCAD, as well as strong leadership and problem-solving skills, are essential. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative solutions in a dynamic environment and requires excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex architectural projects from initial concept through construction, ensuring alignment with client vision and business goals.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct quality control, and oversee production of design development and construction documents, ensuring code compliance and constructability.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and internal teams, presenting proposals and managing expectations.
• Mentor junior architects and designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high standards.
• Ensure designs meet all safety, sustainability, and regulatory standards, using BIM and other tools effectively.
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and risk for large-scale projects.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's in Architecture (B-Arch) or Master's in Architecture (M-Arch).
• Licensure: Licensed Architect (Council of Architecture, etc.).
• Minimum 10+ years in architectural design, with proven experience leading complex projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, visualization tools (Twin Motion, Photoshop, etc.), SketchUp, MS Office, etc.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, leadership, and project management skills. Proficiency in English language.
• Deep understanding of building codes, zoning laws, sustainability principles (LEED, IGBC, etc.).
