Job summary

Credera India is seeking a Pega CLM/KYC Senior/Principal Architect to lead the design, development and delivery of Pega CLM/KYC solutions in an Agile setup.

You will mentor teams, implement end-to-end client onboarding workflows, enforce guardrails, and collaborate with the Pega COE on upgrades and integration patterns (REST/SOAP/Kafka/MQ). Hybrid work with in-office days across multiple cities including Gurgaon.

Qualifications

• Mandatory CLSA (Part 1 & 2).
• 10+ years of Pega experience with 4-5 projects.

Job Description

An experienced Senior Architect supporting client digital transformation initiatives with deep Pega technical expertise and strong CLM/KYC domain expertise , complemented by effective stakeholder engagement skills. The role involves leading the design, development, and delivery of complex Pega CLM/KYC solutions in alignment with business requirements, architecture standards, and security guidelines within Agile Scrum teams. The Senior Architect collaborates closely with solution architects and the Pega COE to deliver scalable, reusable, and high-quality solutions, stays current with industry best practices, maintains comprehensive documentation, and serves as a trusted Pega and CLM/KYC advisor and mentor to stakeholders and delivery teams.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential Technical Qualification:

• • Mandatory - CLSA (Both part 1 & 2)
  • A Senior Architect with 10+ years of Pega experience and at least 4-5 Pega projects implementation
  • Strong hands-on experience with Pega CLM/KYC frameworks (preferably versions 7.4 and above). Good understanding of financial services, client onboarding, and regulatory KYC requirements.
  • At least two Projects should be starting from scratch up until PROD go live which includes Performance tuning.
  • Experience in solutions development on Pega using Pega forms, workflows, data models, layer cake, integration and Pega mobility.
  • Expertise on Connectors and Services, Data Interactions; Integrations (API, Event Driven, Message Queues, SFTP, REST, SOAP, HTTP). Experience in leveraging DevOps methods in projects.
  • Strong in Data Flow, Case Management, Sub-cases, UI, Process Flows, Data Set, Caching, Rule Resolution and Activities.
  • Able to Provide thought-leadership to Customer stakeholders across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements; and Proficient on Pegatools like AES, SMA, PLA, BIX, Accessibility framework is must.
  • Experience with building security first solutions, authorization, identity, encryption, authentication, OWASP, SSOA and RBAC.
  • Should have experience in Code review, code optimization and Pega performance analysis and Performance tuning of applications. Analyses, Identifies, and logs enhancements/bugs in application.
  • Good understanding of Relational Database Management Systems including architecting and designing for performance and scalability and working with Object to Relational Mapping schemes for distributed data access.
  • Experience with iterative development and the Agile methodology as it applies to software development.
  • Proficient to independently design Pega solutions, architect, and design dispute solutions keeping project aspects in mind, meeting/exceeding best practices.
  • Support QA (Quality Assurance) team by making necessary configuration changes during testing cycles.
  • All deployment related activities across all environments including Production.

Key Responsibilities

• • Implement end-to-end client onboarding workflows and KYC processes. Leverage and extend Pega CLM/KYC components as per business needs.
  • Leading and mentoring the development team while architecting and designing enterprise-grade business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks, including estimation, enterprise class structure, and overall application design.
  • Capable in applying Customer standards – reuse existing standards or establish, implement, and enforce appropriate standards in the creation of solutions. Proficient and evangelize re‑usable components that can be enterprise assets.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and gathering workshops and ensure business requirements are converted to Pega expected inputs.
  • Resolves complex design and configuration problems to meet specified objectives.
  • Prepares High Level Designs, low-code platform solutions and collate non-functional requirements. Review/approve design and logic configurations.
  • Provides estimates of time and resources required for delivering Projects and related artifacts applying agreed processes.
  • Enforce Pega Guardrails, conduct rigorous code reviews, and ensure the team maintains a high Guardrail Compliance Score (typically >90%).
  • Design complex integration patterns (REST, SOAP, Kafka, MQ) and manage data synchronization between Pega and legacy systems.
  • Act as a "Trusted Advisor" to C-suite stakeholders, providing roadmaps for Pega upgrades, cloud migrations (Pega Cloud), and the adoption of new features like Constellation or GenAI
  • Lead the transition from reactive troubleshooting to proactive monitoring by configuring PDC thresholds and automated notifications for critical events (e.g., PEGA0001 for slow UI, PEGA0011 for service request bottlenecks).

Preferred Qualification: (Optional/Good to have)

• • Strong understanding of Pegahorizontal and vertical Strategic Applications.
  • Knowledge of components for enterprise architecture like enterprise beans is a plus.
  • Should have worked in sales & pre-sales roles full-time or part-time supporting CoE.
  • Experience on Pegabanking frameworks like Smart Investigate, Disputes, CS-FS, is good to have.
