Job summary

DSP Design Associates in Gurugram is seeking a design-focused project coordinator to conceptualize and execute architectural projects per client requirements.

You will interact with clients, prepare designs, obtain approvals, supervise site progress, and support sales with compelling pitches. The role requires meticulous documentation, cross-team collaboration, and timely communication to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Understanding client requirements and documenting them, coordinating for client approval.
• Conceptualize and develop designs meeting client requirements, standards, and norms, in tandem with the Design cell and Design Directors.
• Obtain drawings approvals ensuring quality standards and client sign-off.
• Site supervision ensuring smooth progress of work at site in all respects.
• Assist with sales pitches by supporting Sales personnel and Design Leaders with presentations.
• Make regular project-related follow-ups with vendors, consultants and clients to ensure timely delivery of materials and information.
• Keep track of design drawing stages and ensure drawings/designs are executable.
• Arrange site and design documentation for future reference and ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of building norms, materials, market costing, and Services (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC) data from subcontractors.
• Detailing for overall quality and architectural perspectives including site and landscaping works.
• Coordinate with Service Consultants and Architecture Team for design and execution, sharing ideas with the Design Team.
• Contribute to company-building initiatives on time and pursue personal development as per plan.
• Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders and provide daily/weekly project updates to the coordinator.

Job description

To conceptualize, design, present and execute entire project adhering Client's requirements.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. 1. Understanding client requirements

   Interact with client to understand their requirements and design accordingly,

   documenting the same and coordinating for client's approval.

   Ensure client satisfaction by taking inputs from client and sharing and sharing the

   developments as per project plan.

2. 2. Conceptualize the design

   Conceptualize and develop designs which meet client's requirements / standards /

   norms. Working in tandem with the Design cell and Design Directors

3. 3. Obtaining approval for the drawings

   Ensure that the drawings are up to the quality standard of the company and meet client

   requirements and sign and seal the same.

   Ensure that the drawings are approved by the clients.

4. 4. Site supervision

   Responsible for smooth progress of work at site in all respects.

5. 5. Assist with sales pitches

   Assisting Sales personnel, Design Directors/ Associate Design Directors/ Design

   Leads and Team Leaders with preparation of sales pitches and presentations.

6. 6. Make regular project related follow-ups

   Make regular follow-ups with vendors, consultants and clients to ensure timely delivery

   of materials and collection of information.

   Keep the track of the stages in design drawings.

   Checking and ensuring that the drawings / design are executable.

7. 7. Documentation

   Responsible for arranging site documentation and design documentation for future

   reference as per standards. Preparing formats for the same and responsible for

   accuracy of all the data put in them.

8. 8. Pricing & Product knowledge

   Must have and update thorough knowledge of various building norms, material

   specifications, market costing & basic knowledge of Services (Electrical, Plumbing and

   HVAC works) and overseeing all relevant data on the same coming from

   subcontractors.

9. 9. Detailing

   Responsible for the overall quality and detailing of all building items constructed to

   attain the desire architectural perspectives including site and landscaping works

10. 10. Co-ordination

    Responsible for interaction with Service Consultants and Architecture Team for

    designing and execution of project.

    Share their ideas with the Design Team to facilitate the execution of project.

    Responsible for joint coordination with civil engineers, interior designers and 3D

    designers to streamline the project.

    Ensure successful completion of identified company-building initiatives on-time

    Ensure self development as per Development Plan

13. 13. Communication

    Interact regularly with all involved in the project

    Keep the Project Co-ordinator abreast with the project developments and send daily /

    weekly reports to him/her.
