Senior Application Support Engineer – Chennai

Responsibilities

• Own resolution of complex production issues for Salesforce applications, acting as a senior escalation point.
• Perform deep technical troubleshooting using Apex debugging, Developer Console, Workbench, logs, and monitoring tools.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and drive permanent fixes in collaboration with development teams.
• Contribute to custom Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Flows, integrations) as part of planned delivery work.
• Support release activities, including deployment validation, post-release verification, and rollback support.
• Mentor mid-level and associate support engineers.
• Contribute to and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Salesforce development and/or application support experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Apex, Flows, LWC, integrations, and debugging tools.
• Proven experience handling production incidents and driving RCA.
• Ability to balance development and support responsibilities effectively.
• Strong communication and ownership mindset.
• Preferred certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I or II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, ITIL Foundation.
