Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Application Packaging Specialist to design and maintain MSI, MSIX, App-V, and IntuneWinpackages for Windows 10/11 environments. You will ensure compatibility across enterprise setups and standardize packaging practices.

You will deploy applications using Intune, MECM/SCCM, and Endpoint Manager, define deployment rings, pilot groups, and rollback approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to define and implement packaging standards and templates.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain MSI, MSIX or App-V and IntuneWinpackages for Windows environments.
• Deploy applications using Intune, MECM/SCCM, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Ivanti.
• Define deployment rings, pilot groups, rollback approaches, and compliance reporting.
• Troubleshoot failed deployments and provide L3 support for complex issues.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for silent installations, detections, uninstall automation, and registry changes.
• Standardize reusable scripts and templates for packaging creation and validation.
• Review packaging quality, mentor juniors, and participate in CAB/Release readiness meetings.
• Prepare deployment notes and documentation for rollouts.
