Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Senior Application Consultant to join our team in Hyderabad or Bangalore, working in a hybrid setup. You will apply IT knowledge to Oil & Gas and Food & Beverages domains, with experience on AVEVA System Platform or similar SCADA products, and an understanding of manufacturing and operations management.

You will mentor junior team members, document case findings, troubleshoot product, integration and custom application issues, ensure SLA-aligned updates, reproduce issues, and

Qualifications

• Hands-on operations and management experience in Food & Beverages or Oil & Gas industries.
• Experience with AVEVA System Platform or any SCADA product.
• Good understanding of the Food & Beverages or Oil & Gas industry with knowledge of supply chain management.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Team-oriented, able to mentor junior members and guide development.
• Ability to question the status quo of customers.
• Document activities and findings in a case tracking tool.
• Technical troubleshooting and diagnosis of product issues.
• Troubleshooting of custom application issues.
• Troubleshooting of custom integration issues.
• Ensure case updates and resolutions align with SLA.
• Delivery of workarounds or fixes; replication of issues.
• Development of technical documentation.
• Preferred qualifications include SQL Server development/DBA tools and Visual Studio.
