Job summary

Farsight Technologies is seeking an experienced Android developer to join our mobile team. You will work on Android applications using Kotlin, Android SDK, and Android Studio across multiple versions of Android.

Responsibilities include integrating RESTful APIs, implementing MVVM architecture with LiveData and ViewModels, optimizing UI performance, and leveraging latest libraries. Experience with mapping and push notifications is a plus.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/MCA required.
• 3 to 5 years of Android Development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio and different versions of Android.

• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with offline storage, multi-threading, and performance tuning.

• Experience on various latest libraries available for Android.
• Familiar with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, etc.
• Proficient understanding of location services and Google Map.
