Job summary

Digisme is seeking an experienced Android developer to design and implement mobile apps with Kotlin and Java. You will handle real-time location updates, camera features with ML-based recognition, and Firebase integration, while aligning with clean architecture patterns.

The role requires strong REST API skills (Retrofit), proficiency in Android lifecycle and performance optimization, and collaboration with backend, QA and product teams. Cross-platform familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
• Experience with REST API integration using Retrofit and networking libraries.
• Experience with Firebase (Realtime DB, Crashlytics) and local databases (Room/SQLite).
• Good understanding of Android lifecycle and app performance optimization.
• Knowledge of architecture patterns MVC, MVVM, and VIPER.
