Job summary

Flex is seeking a Senior Analyst – VMI in Chennai to manage inventory at a 3rd party hub, create sales orders and purchase orders, and maintain accuracy across systems. The role focuses on reducing ageing inventory, weekly Sales & Inventory reporting, and journal postings in line with SOPs.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of accounting/finance experience, strong English communication, and proficiency in MS Excel and ERP. Collaboration and analytical skills are essential.

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory at 3rd party hub remotely with regular reconciliation.
• Create SOs and POs and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Reduce inventory ageing and report Sales & Inventory weekly.
• Reconcile sub‑module vs trial balance; process journal transactions per SOPs.
• Experience in GL, intercompany, AR or AP is beneficial.

What a typical day looks like:

• Managing of inventory located at 3rd party hub location remotely through regular reconciliation and tracking.
• Creation of SO’s and PO’s.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Reduce inventory ageing.
• Reporting of Sales & Inventory on weekly basis.
• Reconciliation of sub-module vs trial balance.
• Should have good analytical ability.
• Should be strong in the Number Crunching.
• Process journal transactions as per the standard operating procedures.
• Experience in the GL or Intercompany Activity or AR or AP.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Good written & oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and use of Email software.
• Good presentation skills and team work.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance B.com/M.com/BBA/MBA
• Around 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting & finance.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Good written/oral communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP Systems.
• Good analytical skills and should be a team player.
