Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) is seeking an experienced Lease Accounting professional in Gujarat, India, to manage end-to-end lease accounting activities and related reconciliations. The role focuses on AR, AP, GL, and financial reporting, with exposure to US real estate accounting processes.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Yardi or MRI, strong month-end close capabilities, advanced Excel skills, and proven stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Lease Accounting / Real Estate Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of AR, AP, GL, Bank Reconciliations, and Financial Reporting.
• Understanding of US Real Estate Accounting and lease processes.
• Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar property accounting systems.
• Strong month-end close and reconciliation experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, reporting).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in client interactions, work reviews, and escalation handling.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end lease accounting activities including AR, AP, and GL.
• Perform tenant billing, rent invoicing, cash applications, and aging analysis.
• Process vendor invoices, expense bookings, and payments.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and GL adjustments.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare rent rolls, lease schedules, and client financial reports.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to stakeholders.
• Respond to client, auditor, and internal stakeholder queries.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, SOPs, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and quality reviews.
• Manage assigned portfolios and ensure timely service delivery.
