Blend is seeking a Senior Analyst – Power BI & Market Intelligence in Hyderabad, India. You will transform complex commercial data into intuitive dashboards and insights for global clients, leveraging Power BI, SQL, and market intelligence platforms with GenAI exposure.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership teams, build scalable data models, and ensure governance, security, and high-quality reporting across functions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience in Power BI development, SQL, BI, and analytics.
• Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.
• Experience with syndicated market intelligence platforms such as NielsenIQ, Circana (IRI), Kantar, or Ipsos.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support commercial, sales, marketing, and leadership teams.
• Develop reusable semantic models, DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and optimized data models for scalable reporting.
• Monitor report performance, optimize datasets, and ensure high-quality, reliable reporting solutions.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace management, scheduled refreshes, and governance best practices.
• Analyze syndicated market intelligence datasets to generate actionable business insights.
• Develop dashboards covering market share, sales performance, category trends, pricing, promotions, distribution, and consumer behavior.
• Combine external market data with internal data to provide comprehensive commercial insights.

Job Description

As a Senior Analyst – Power BI & Market Intelligence, you will bring 4+ years of experience in Power BI development, SQL, business intelligence, and market intelligence analytics to deliver impactful reporting and insights for global clients. You will play a key role in transforming complex commercial and market data into intuitive dashboards and actionable insights that support business functions such as Sales, Marketing, Category Management, and Commercial Excellence.

This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical thinking, hands-on Power BI expertise, and experience working with syndicated market intelligence platforms such as NielsenIQ, Circana (IRI), Kantar, or Ipsos. Additionally, exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) technologies, AI-powered analytics, and modern BI practices will be highly valued as we continue to build next-generation analytics solutions.

• Support business stakeholders by identifying trends, opportunities, and performance drivers across brands and markets.

SQL & Data Management

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations for reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to validate data quality and ensure efficient ETL processes.
• Work with relational databases and data warehouses to support enterprise reporting requirements.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting to maintain reporting accuracy.

AI & GenAI Enablement

• Leverage Generative AI tools to improve reporting productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and accelerate insight generation.
• Utilize AI-powered Power BI capabilities such as Copilot, natural language queries, AI visuals, and anomaly detection where applicable.
• Explore opportunities to integrate GenAI into analytics workflows and reporting processes.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and contribute ideas for innovative analytics solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Present analytical findings through compelling visualizations and data storytelling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, Analytics, Product, and Business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development, SQL, business intelligence, and analytics.
• Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.
• Experience working with syndicated market intelligence platforms such as NielsenIQ, Circana (IRI), Kantar, or Ipsos.
• Good understanding of commercial analytics including market share, category performance, pricing, promotions, retail sales, and consumer insights.
• Experience with relational databases, data modeling, ETL concepts, and data warehousing fundamentals.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or cloud-based analytics platforms is an advantage.
• Practical experience or familiarity with Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, AI-assisted analytics, or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
