Job summary

Area of work

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) area is at the heart of the Information Technology division of Deutsche Brse Group. The CTO area develops and operates the group-wide IT infrastructure (network, data centers and Cloud), the Group Data & Advanced Analytics and the Enterprise Architecture, and therefore significantly contributes to Deutsche Brse Group overall IT strategy. The CTO area drives digital transformation and leverages innovation while keeping production operations stable. Within the CTO Area, the Cloud / Core Infrastructure department enables the usage of public cloud services from Microsoft and Google and provides core infrastructure services such as data center management and non-trading network operations. The department develops and maintains cloud platforms for GCP and Azure, which allows the other IT departments (Product ITs) to make use of cloud in a safe and efficient manner. You will drive the transformation of modern technologies and infrastructure in a highly regulated capital markets environment; advance innovation and contribute to Deutsche Brse Groups overall strategy.

Your responsibilities

• Monitor the network infrastructure services and react upon alerts according to the operational procedures.
• Conduct first level incident analysis.
• Create, assign and follow-up on network infrastructure services incident tickets.
• Support out of hours activities, participate in shifts (2) and on-call rotations.
• Strictly adhere to corporate processes, standards, policies and operational procedures.
• Maintain documentation and operational procedures

Your profile

• A university degree in Information Technology or other technical degree.
• Excellent understanding of networking and connectivity technologies, and a general understanding of other IT infrastructure components.
• Previous experience in a similar role (3 years).
• Knowledge of ITSM and specifically of Incident Management.
• Very good analytical skills and structured thinking.
• Very strong customer-oriented mindset and attitude, experience in interacting with both internal and external customers.
• Very good communication capabilities.
• Very well organized, autonomous, committed to quality, high sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Full proficiency in written and spoken English .
