Job summary

Deutsche Börse Group in India, Hyderabad, seeks a Senior Cloud Engineering Leader for the CTO area. You will lead a team of cloud engineers, interface with global teams and drive the design, automation and operation of our cloud platforms.

You will oversee GCP and Azure, strengthen security, implement IaC and scripting, and partner with information security, enterprise architecture and product IT teams to deliver reliable, scalable IT services. Fluent English required.

Qualifications

• University degree related to Information Technology, Cyber Security, or other technical degree.
• At least five years experience in a management capacity incl. team lead capability.
• 3 years experience in complex IT Operations and IT service management.
• 5 years work experience in cloud computing with GCP and Azure.
• Knowledge of information security concepts, containers, IaC, and scripting.
• Strong organization, communication, and ownership skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English (at least B2).

Responsibilities

• Strong leadership of a team of cloud engineers in India, building and growing the team and interfacing with adjacent teams in India and abroad.
• Operate and monitor GCP and Azure cloud platforms with emphasis on automation, availability, security and performance.
• Provide support to cloud platform users in Product IT teams.
• Handle requests / Jira tickets from Product IT teams.
• Drive automation of cloud platform operations in collaboration with other cloud platform teams.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Platform Engineering, and Emergency Response teams.
• Advise Product IT teams with deep technical know-how to secure cloud workloads.
• Share and exchange knowledge within Deutsche Börse Group.

Field of activity:

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) area is at the heart of the Information Technology division of Deutsche Brse Group. The CTO area develops and operates the group-wide IT infrastructure (network, data centres and Cloud), the Group Data & Advanced Analytics and the Enterprise Architecture, and therefore significantly contributes to Deutsche Brse Group overall IT strategy. The CTO area drives digital transformation and leverages innovation while keeping production operations stable.

Tasks/responsibilities:

• Strong leadership of a team of cloud engineers in India, building and growing the team and interfacing with adjacent teams in India and abroad
• Operate and monitor GCP and Azure cloud platforms from an automation, availability, security and performance aspect
• Provide support to cloud platform users in the Product IT teams
• Process requests / Jira tickets handed in by Product IT teams
• Drive automation of operations of the cloud platform in collaboration with other cloud platform teams
• Work closely with Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Platform Engineering, and Emergency Response teams
• Advise the different Product IT teams within DBG with deep technical know-how in their efforts of securing cloud workloads
• Share and exchange knowledge and expertise within DBG

Qualifications/required skills:

• University degree related to Information Technology, Cyber Security, or other technical degree
• At least five years experience in a management capacity incl. team lead capability
• 3 years experience in complex IT Operations and IT service management
• 5 years work experience in cloud computing with experience regarding GCP and Azure
• Knowledge and experience in the area of information security concepts and tools, container technologies, Infrastructure-as-Code, and scripting
• Highly organized, and strong communication capabilities and team orientation
• Independent work method, high commitment to quality, and high self-responsibility & ownership
• Proficiency in written and spoken English (at least level B2).
