Job summary

Nationwide Technology invites applications for a Software Engineer role in India. The candidate will focus on delivering secure technology solutions, developing new software applications or supporting existing ones, and ensuring quality through coding, testing, and documentation within an agile environment.

You will work on high-quality, efficient technology solutions for business partners, participate in DevSecOps practices, and collaborate across teams to meet deadlines and drive results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building and supporting Microservices in production.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab).
• Expertise with Git version control.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

As a Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on providing high quality, efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity, you’ll code, configure, test, debug, document and maintain applications.

Education

Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree.
