Qualifications

Principal Accountabilities:

The Senior FP&A Analyst will own the end-to-end consolidated expense reporting process across business areas and shared services. The role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and decision-focused reporting; interpreting financial performance; and partnering regularly with finance and business leaders to explain results, challenge assumptions, and support informed decisions. Success requires strong analytical judgment, advanced Excel capability, executive-ready presentation skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate complex financial information clearly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, forecast, and annual consolidated expense reporting cycles, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Consolidate financial results across business areas, functions, and shared services, with clear reconciliation and control checks.
  • Perform detailed actual-versus-plan, forecast, and prior-year analysis; identify key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Translate complex financial data into concise, actionable commentary and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with finance and business leaders through regular reviews, follow-ups, and proactive communication.
  • Own leadership reporting packages, dashboards, and presentations, ensuring a clear story, consistent messaging, and high-quality visuals.
  • Develop and maintain advanced Excel models, reporting templates, reconciliations, and automated controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support budgeting, rolling forecasts, scenario analysis, and ad hoc financial requests across multiple stakeholders.
  • Validate data from Oracle, Smart View, or other ERP and planning systems; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain robust governance, documentation, and compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and automate reporting processes while improving the quality of financial insights.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Analytical capability: Strong ability to interpret large and complex datasets, connect operational and financial drivers, and develop actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel: Hands-on expertise with PivotTables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, dynamic formulas, data validation, charts, Power Query, and macros or VBA; ability to build scalable financial models and reporting tools.
  • Executive communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present results, answer questions, and influence senior leaders.
  • Presentation expertise: Strong PowerPoint capability and experience developing executive-ready decks that clearly communicate insights, risks, and recommendations.
  • Business partnership: Ability to build credibility, manage multiple stakeholders, challenge assumptions constructively, and drive timely actions.
  • Financial acumen: Strong understanding of expense management, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, accruals, allocations, and management reporting.
  • Systems: Experience with Oracle, Smart View, EPBCS/EPM, SAP, Power BI, or comparable ERP, planning, and visualization tools is preferred.
  • Execution: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and control.
Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst provides enterprise-level FP&A support through consolidated expense reporting , forecasting , variance analysis, and leadership reporting. Acting as a trusted finance partner, the analyst works closely with leaders across functions to explain performance, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and recommend actions. The role combines strong financial judgment with advanced Excel modeling and executive presentation skills to deliver accurate, insightful, and decision-ready information.

Candidate Responsibilities:
  • Take end-to-end ownership of consolidated expense reporting, from data collection and validation through analysis and commentary.
  • Coordinate regularly with finance leaders and business stakeholders to obtain inputs, validate assumptions, resolve issues, and communicate outcomes.
  • Prepare rolling forecasts, budgets, and business plans supported by driver-based analysis and well-reasoned assumptions.
  • Provide comprehensive analysis of current and historical financial performance, including expense, headcount, allocation, and run-rate trends.
  • Create high-quality Excel reports and executive presentations that clearly explain the financial story and required management actions.
  • Manage escalations proactively, investigate reporting issues, and ensure stakeholder questions are addressed accurately and promptly.
