Job summary

Pall Corporation in Pune, India, is seeking an IT CAD Applications Specialist to enable scalable PLM solutions and automate deployment on Autodesk Fusion, Vault, and related tools. You will migrate data across systems, validate tooling merges, and ensure secure, efficient operations in a fast paced engineering environment.

You will deploy upgrades, manage scripts, and provide user support across Asia-Pacific regions.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in CS/IT/Mech or related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience mapping workflows and merging data across PLM tools.
• Proficiency with CAD/PLM deployment and data transformation utilities.

Responsibilities

• Map workflows and merge data across Lotus Notes, SharePoint to Autodesk Vault/Windchill/Fusion Manage.
• Use CoolOrange Powerload or DTU for database merge activities.
• Create and validate CAD tool deployment scripts (SCCM/Company Portal).
• Deploy CAD/PLM tool upgrades and remove legacy versions.
• Perform server maintenance and manage access groups.
• Support CAD/PDM users via Service Now.

Are you a talented and experienced IT CAD Applications specialist looking for your next growth opportunity on a Lifecycle Management (PLM) Team? As an Engineering Databases and Applications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enabling efficient and scalable PLM solutions for our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to automate and streamline our operational processes, ensuring smooth deployment and monitoring of applications on the Autodesk Fusion platform. This position is part of the Engineering and R&D Systems team and will be located in India, Pune.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Map workflows and merge data from sources such as Lotus Notes, SharePoint, and other engineering applications into Autodesk Vault, Windchill, or Fusion Manage, thus ensuring seamless data migration and integration. This involves understanding the existing workflows, mapping to existing workflows in the target system, and executing data migration plans to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Additionally, utilize tools such as the CoolOrange Powerload, Autodesk DTU tool (Data Transformation Utility), or other merge tools for database merge activities, ensuring efficient and accurate data transformation and migration processes.
• Create and validate CAD Applications deployment and removal scripts (SCCM/Company Portal) for tools such as Catia, Inventor, AutoCAD, Windchill, Vault.. ensuring thorough testing and validation to guarantee seamless integration and functionality.
• Deploy application upgrade and remove legacy versions of various CAD tools, PLM systems (PTC Windchill, Autodesk Vault), ensuring a clean and efficient transition to new versions and minimizing disruptions to operations.
• Perform server maintenance tasks and manage access groups to ensure secure and efficient system operations.
• Utilize Service Now to support our CAD and PDM user community.

• BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline.
• 7-10 years of industry experience with relevant technical expertise.
• Experience in mapping workflows and merging data from various sources such as Lotus Notes to Autodesk Vault or Fusion Manage, ensuring seamless data migration and integration.
• Proficiency in using tools such as the Cool Orange Power load, Autodesk DTU tool (Data Transformation Utility) for database merge activities.
• Experience in creating and validating CAD and Simulation Analysis tool deployment scripts for tools such as ANSYS, Catia, Inventor, and AutoCAD, ensuring thorough testing and validation to guarantee seamless integration and functionality.
• Experience in deploying and removing legacy versions of CAD tools and PLM systems, ensuring a clean and efficient transition to new versions and minimizing disruptions to operations.
• Experience supporting users in Asia-Pacific regions is desirable.
• Fluency in Japanese or Mandarin would be advantageous.
