Job summary

Synchrony India is seeking a Senior Analyst, Digital Analytics (L09) to drive digital measurement and analytics initiatives across platforms. You will work closely with US Analytics and the India Analytics Hub to deliver data-driven insights and build analytics roadmaps.

You will create dashboards, analyze user journeys, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize digital experiences and feature performance. This role requires hands-on problem solving and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of analytics experience in relevant domain.
• 2+ years in web analytics using Adobe or Google Analytics.
• 2+ years of Python, SAS or SQL experience.

Our Analytics organization comprises of data analysts who focus on enabling strategies to enhance customer and partner experience and optimize business performance through data management and development of full stack descriptive to prescriptive analytics solutions using cutting edge technologies thereby enabling business growth .

Role Summary/Purpose

Senior Analyst, Digital Analytics (Individual Contributor) role is a part of India Analytics Hub (IAH). Our Analytics team comprises of data analysts who focus on improving customer/product/digital/ journey experience etc. and growth by providing full stack descriptive to prescriptive analytics via cutting edge technologies to support business objectives . The role will deliver on business and organizational priorities, working in close collaboration with US Analytics and IAH teams, solving problems with solutions that are powered by data and analytics. The role includes providing strategic thought leadership in optimizing and scaling up current deliveries and building analytics roadmap. The model candidate must be a thought leader, hands on problem solver and deliver actionable insights for the business .

Key Responsibilities

• Independently work on Digital Measurement Analytics for Synchrony Marketing Platforms in Agile methodology to drive digital data strategy that includes collection & validation of data , reporting and measure ment of feature performance
• Build and Manage dashboards , Leverage multiple digital analytics tools to analyze user behavior, understand journey friction points, and drive UX improvement opportunities
• Partner with onsite Stakeholders and various process owners in marketing, technology and digital teams to plan and implement strategic priorities
• Responsible for effective communication, project deliverables, adhering to expected timelines, accuracy & compliance with meticulous project management
• Lead internal initiatives, perform other duties and/or special projects, as assigned

Required Skills/Knowledge

• 3 + Years of working experience in relevant Analytics domain, 2 + years of experience in Web Analytics Domain utilizing tools such as Adobe or Google Analytics and 2+ years of experience in Python, SAS or SQL
• Minimum 2 + years of experience in Data visualizations tools such as Tableau to drive insights
• 1+ years of experience using AWS SageMaker
• Ability to solve complex technical problems with minimal supervision
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to collaborate, articulate and present solutions cutting across functional/agile teams in a simple yet compelling manner

Desired Skills/Knowledge

• 2 to 4 years of analytics experience in Financial Services Industry
• Ability to engage with technical and non-technical audiences with empathy and ensure needs/asks are effectively translated into technical requirements and followed upon.

Eligibility Criteria

BS or MS in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field with 3+ years of hands-on Analytics experience (Distance learning not valid) or in lieu of a degree with 5 to 7 years of experience

Work Timings: 2PM - 11PM IST

This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time - 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose . Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
