Job summary

Black & Veatch’s Global Advisory group seeks a Senior Analyst (Data Center Design Expert) to support design reviews and data-driven decision making for utility-scale projects in Mumbai and Pune. You will work across data infrastructure, power and water domains to help clients justify major improvements and manage risks.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in mission-critical mechanical systems, with strong analytical skills and experience in HVAC and energy performance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in mission-critical mechanical systems.
• Experience reviewing or developing engineering for reliability, efficiency and lifecycle of data center HVAC systems.
• Understanding of cooling redundancy, controls integration, equipment selection and energy performance.
• Engineering degree(s) in Electrical or Mechanical fields; masters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design review of mission critical infrastructure for data centers.
• Work on transaction projects involving water and related technologies.
• Compile data from design documents and contracts.
• Review technical inputs in financial models for data centers and water technologies.
• Data analysis and crunching.
• Draft inputs to technical due diligence, construction and operation monitoring reports.
• Present data in meaningful formats for project teams.

• 3-5 years of experience in in mission-critical mechanical systems
• Experience in reviewing or developing engineering for the reliability, efficiency, and lifecycle performance of mission-critical mechanical and HVAC systems for data centers
• Understanding of cooling redundancy, controls integration, equipment selection and energy performance
• Understanding of techno-commercial aspects in contracts
• Graduation in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; Masters degree in Engineering preferred;
• Understanding of basic concepts in power and infrastructure projectsbeyond core skill set

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors Degree + 2-4 years experience OR Masters degree. 2-4+ years experience in a business/consulting environment. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
