The Senior Analyst will work closely with the Sr. Director of Business Dynamics, Data Management to serve as a data subject matter expert and hands-on analyst who will be focused on running analytics, conducting data investigations, and providing guidance on how to leverage complex patient-level commercial datasets including LAAD, APLD, Remit, Lifecycle, Triggers, lab data as well as patient derived datasets including Source of Business and Line of Therapy reporting. This person will help analytics teams understand the nuances of the data, how to approach analyses, and how to translate data into insights. This role is ideal for a highly collaborative, intellectually curious individual who is energized by working with complex data and translating it into actionable insights for the business.
The right candidate will come with a “continuous improvement” mindset on operational excellence by standardizing and automating data processes and maintaining high data quality standards.
Maintain effective relationships with the end stakeholders within the allocated GBU and tasks – with an end objective to act as the data SME, develop training & communication content, and document processes as per requirement
Engage actively with source data partners in shaping quality standards, flagging issues, and ensuring documentation is maintained
Contribute analytical perspective to NA stakeholder conversations on data strategy, bringing deep knowledge of what the data can and cannot support, with the team lead holding overall strategic accountability
Support data strategy for patient-level data assets, in partnership with the Sr. Director
Train teams on dataset structures and how to interpret and use complex patient claims data effectively
Play a guiding analytical role in designing analyses leveraging patient-level commercial datasets, including Line of Therapy, Source of Business, patient adherence/persistence, HCP segmentation, and competitive dynamics
Lead data investigations to troubleshoot anomalies, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure analysts and stakeholders understand data limitations and proper use cases
Contribute as a core team member in building the data quality framework, cataloguing, and profiling specific to patient-level data, with responsibility for documentation and analytical best practices that the broader team relies on
Actively review data quality reports, maintain requirements documents, business rules, and metadata for patient-level datasets; serve as the first point of contact for claims data inquiries and provide analytical support to the US CDM team
Collaborate with Data Operations and Digital as an active partner, contributing domain expertise on patient-level data to help enhance data access, tooling, and processes that improve quality and productivity across the team
Experience: 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial patient level datasets, patient level analytics and data stewardship. In-depth knowledge of US Commercial Pharma databaseslikeIQVIA APLD, LAAD, Specialty Pharmacy, Symphony,Value Centric, US Commercial Pharma Value Chain, Product Launch excellenceetc
Soft skills: Strong learning agility; Ability to think strategically in ambiguous environments, and to adapt to changing needs of the business; Good interpersonal and communication skills; strong presentation skills a must; Team player who is curious, dynamic, result oriented and can work collaboratively; Ability to operate effectively in an international matrix environment, with ability to work across time zones;
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
