Job summary

Diageo in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Analyst in Commercial Experience Service Delivery to support Order-to-Cash processes across global markets. You will coordinate order entry, validation, and delivery activities, ensuring accurate billing handoffs and timely cash application.

The role emphasizes strong accounting knowledge, proficiency with SAP/Oracle/HighRadius, and clear communication with internal teams and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) with focus on Order Management (order entry, validation, allocation, delivery coordination, billing handoff).
• Ability to manage order exceptions: price/discount mismatch, stock availability, delivery blocks, credit holds, master data errors, order amendments/cancellations.
• Understanding of order types, cut-offs, shipping conditions, and basic returns
• Basic knowledge of customer master elements (bill-to/ship-to, payment terms, tax indicators) and their impact on order processing.
• Payment Matching: Apply daily cash receipts, wire transfers, and checks to exact customer invoices using remittance advice.
• Dispute Resolution: Investigate unapplied or unidentified cash and manage short-payments or billing discrepancies.
• Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations alongside the accounts receivable and collections teams.
• Reporting: Generate aging reports and track metrics like Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

• Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external clients.

Skills and Competencies:

• Good knowledge of accounting concepts and Accounts Receivable Process
• Good and clear communication skills in English (verbal and written) are a must.
