Magnit Global is seeking a CW Payroll Analyst / Senior Analyst to join our Payroll Operations team in Vadodara. The role focuses on US payroll tax compliance, wage corrections, W-2C processing, and garnishments, with hands-on experience across Beeline, FieldGlass, PeopleSoft, and Ceridian.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of Payroll Analytics experience and a strong eye for detail, able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure accurate offboarding and final payments when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in any stream; 2–5 years of Payroll Analytics experience.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. tax compliance and payroll taxes.
• Proficiency with payroll systems and data accuracy requirements.
• Experience with W-2C processing, garnishments, wage corrections.

Responsibilities

• Process US payroll tax corrections and wage moves.
• Apply tax knowledge to FIT, Social Security, Medicare, and state taxes.
• Handle garnishments and court-ordered deductions.

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CW Payroll Analyst / Senior Analyst to join our Payroll Operations team. This role is ideal for a payroll professional with strong US payroll tax compliance knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and hands‑on experience with tax corrections, wage adjustments, W-2C processing, garnishments, and payroll discrepancies.

What You Will Do

• US Payroll Tax & Corrections: Process and validate wage adjustments, Wage Moves, W-2C corrections, and other payroll tax adjustments.
• Tax Compliance: Apply knowledge of FIT, Social Security, Medicare, and state/local payroll taxes, including tax rates, wage limits, and withholding requirements.
• Garnishments: Process and validate child support, tax levies, creditor garnishments, and other court-ordered deductions.
• Data & Quality: Review payroll data, identify discrepancies, perform reconciliations, and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Issue Resolution: Research complex payroll issues, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
• Offboarding & FNF: Process offboarding transactions and Full & Final payments accurately and timely.
• Collaboration: Partner with Payroll, Service Delivery, Client Services, and other teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring issues, recommend preventive controls, and support process improvements.
• Team Support: Share knowledge, guide analysts, and support timely completion of team deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors in any stream with 2 - 5 years of experience in Payroll Analytics.
• DEPTH Knowledge of U.S tax compliance
• Strong understanding of:
• Federal Income Tax (FIT)
• Social Security and Medicare
• US state and local payroll taxes
• Taxable and non-taxable wages
• Wage bases and applicable tax limits
• Payroll withholding requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment as well as work independently.
• Organizational skills include the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up in a timely manner.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict payroll deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, filtering, sorting, and pivot tables.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends, anomalies, and root causes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience working with VMS and payroll systems (e.g., Beeline, FieldGlass, PeopleSoft, Ceridian) is a plus.
