Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Associate – Syndicated Loans located in Bangalore. We are looking for an experienced Investment Operations Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in investment operations—especially syndicated bank loans, trade lifecycle, and working with U.S.-based asset management firms.
Responsibilities
- Reconciliation of internal and external data, including investment positions, cash and transactions
- Data integrity analysis, as needed from time to time. This can include reviewing security master data points, security identifiers, or any other data points within the Investment Book of Record (IBOR).
- Transactions processing, deletion or modification, as needed, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of transactions and positions within the IBOR.
- Support special projects, internal/external audits, investment accounting tasks (e.g., unapplied wires, open payables/receivables), asset transfers, and other ad hoc requests.
- Communication with internal and external parties. Internal parties include Investment Operations, Investment reporting, Information Technology, and Front Office, whereas external parties include brokers, custody banks and vendors.
Education & Experience
- Proficiency in Consolidation, Finance, and Accounting functions to analyze and organize financial data
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 4–10 years of experience in Syndicated Loan and investment operations.
- Experience supporting a U.S.-based asset management firm
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Allvue, SimCorp Dimension, or similar trade order management/investment accounting systems.
- Experience with WSOWeb / ClearPar
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of CDO/CLO structures.
- Ability to build and analyze KPI metrics.
- Proficiency in Power BI is a plus
