The Senior Analyst is an individual contributor to provide data-driven analytics support to the Cost Strategy team within the Merch FDS&A organization.
The Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing product costs to unlock enterprise value. This high-visibility role partners directly with Merchandising, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain and Finance to produce actionable insights that inform strategic decisions on vendor performance, and product cost optimization Strategies.
Data Analysis & Insights: The Analyst leverages advanced analytics to analyze data, identify trends, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver actionable insights & recommendation to stakeholders
Data Management: Gathering, wrangling, and preparing data, ensuring accuracy to enable meaningful analyses while ensuring adherence to analytical best practices
Collaboration & Leadership: Working with Analysts, Engineers, and Data Scientists to achieve function goals, driving continuous improvement
Self-Leadership: Operating effectively within a matrixed organization, demonstrating initiative, and delivering high-quality outcomes independently.
3.5+ years' experience in analytical role along with proficiency in Sql & Excel/Power BI and Statistics. Retail & Finance domain knowledge is a good to have
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Math or Business
Skill Set Required: Hands-on experience working with Enterprise level databases (e.g., Hadoop, GCP, DB2), Visual story telling with dashboards in Power Bi, Superset, Excel, Excellent communications skills to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
