Job summary

GlobalData, headquartered in Hyderabad, seeks a Senior Analyst to lead report development for technology, media and telecom markets. You will shape topics, write with executive clarity, and leverage AI-assisted tools to deliver client-ready insights.

As a senior analyst, you will drive market sizing, forecasting and competitive analyses while coordinating with multiple GlobalData teams to ensure consistency with house methodologies and client requirements.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of extensive report writing experience.
• Strong sector knowledge of technology, media and telecom.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled research and writing tools to support research development.
• Proven track record of identifying report topics and defining the report narrative.
• Adept at market sizing, forecasting, company data analysis, competitive research, GTM research, and value chain analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize report topics based on tech trends, market developments and client requirements.
• Define topic scope and narrative for each report for senior executives with clear analyst perspectives.
• Use AI-enabled tools to draft reports; edit thoroughly to ensure client readiness.
• Develop deep insights into technology trends across segments and competitive landscape.
• ConductQuality control across all content, verify facts, data, company names and sources.
• Take end-to-end ownership from scoping to final publication for assigned reports.
• Collaborate with GlobalData units to incorporate cross-sector datasets and align with methodologies.
• Mentor analysts on topic selection, research focus and QC.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 4 to 5 years of extensive report writing experience.
• Strong sector knowledge of technology, media and telecom. Especially the emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled research and writing tools, and the ability to use them effectively to support the research development.
• Proven track record of identifying report topics and defining the report narrative
• Adept at market sizing and forecasting, company data analysis, competitive research, go to market research, and value chain analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to fact-check and verify content, data and sources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-driven with the ability to manage time while working on multiple reports in parallel.
• Should adhere to the report deadlines and quality standards.
• Remain calm and effective when working under tight deadlines and time pressure

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize report topics based on relevant technology trends, market developments, and client requirements.
• Define the topic, scope, and narrative for each report to ensure relevance to the target audience. As the primary audience is senior executives, maintain a high standard of writing and deliver clear analyst perspectives and thought leadership.
• Take help of AI-enabled tools to develop report drafts. Review and edit them thoroughly so that they are client ready. Add value to reports through original insights, analysis and market sizing where required.
• Develop expertise in identifying technology trends across segments, including emerging technologies. Track trends and build deep insights into the enterprise trends and competitive landscape covering leading vendors.
• Conduct rigorous quality control across all report content, verifying the accuracy of facts, numerical data, company names, and source citations.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned reports from initial scoping through to final publication.
• Collaborate across GlobalData business units to incorporate relevant cross-sector datasets and ensure alignment with published house viewpoints and methodologies.
• Guide and mentor analysts on topic selection, research focus and QC, and review their work.
