Job summary

Alpine TechLabs, an AI-first software company, is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise software applications across multiple business functions. You will own significant components and leverage Claude Code as the primary development platform.

You will collaborate with leadership, build production-grade web apps, APIs, and backend services using React, Node.js, SQL, and cloud infrastructure such as Amazon EC2.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience building production-grade full-stack web applications.
• Professional experience using Claude Code or demonstrated expertise with AI-first software development tools and workflows.
• Strong understanding of AI-assisted software engineering and prompt engineering.
• Experience reviewing, validating, testing, and refining AI-generated code.
• Experience with React, Vue, or similar frontend frameworks.
• Experience developing backend applications using Node.js.
• Strong SQL and relational database design experience.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Experience deploying applications to Amazon EC2.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to independently own projects from concept through production.

• Use Claude Code extensively throughout the software development lifecycle, including planning, architecture, coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and refactoring.
• Develop production-quality software using AI-assisted engineering workflows.

• Design and implement REST APIs and backend services.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases.

• Configure and manage Linux-based production environments.
• Configure and maintain Cloudflare services, including Cloudflare Tunnel, DNS, SSL, and Zero Trust.

Position Summary

As a Senior AI Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise software applications used across multiple business functions.

You’ll collaborate closely with leadership to transform ideas into scalable software products while leveraging Claude Code as your primary development platform.

This is a hands-on engineering position with significant ownership, technical autonomy, and the opportunity to shape both our products and engineering practices.
