Guardian Life is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to serve as a technical leader and architect responsible for designing, building, and evolving Guardian's enterprise AI Platform.

The ideal candidate provides architecture leadership across the AI platform stack—experience plane, control plane, and execution plane—defining platform standards, building reusable capabilities, and driving enterprise adoption of AI and GenAI technologies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of AI Platform Engineering experience.
• 3+ years designing cloud-native distributed platforms.
• 3+ years architecting AI/ML or GenAI platforms.
• Proven experience building enterprise-grade platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Platform Engineer to serve as a technical leader and architect responsible for designing, building, and evolving Guardian's enterprise AI Platform.

This role will provide architecture leadership across the AI platform stack, spanning:

• Experience Plane - AI developer experience, SDKs, AI Studio, agent builder frameworks, developer portals and reusable platform assets
• Control Plane - AI governance, policy enforcement, guardrails, evaluation frameworks, AI registry, observability, and FinOps
• Execution Plane - Agent runtimes, LLM inference, orchestration frameworks, MCP services, AI gateways, RAG infrastructure and production operations

The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect capable of defining platform standards, building reusable capabilities, solving complex engineering challenges, and driving enterprise adoption of AI and Agentic technologies.

Required

• 7+ years of AI Platform Engineering experience.
• 3+ years designing cloud-native distributed platforms.
• 3+ years architecting AI/ML or GenAI platforms.
• Proven experience building enterprise-grade platform capabilities.

Preferred

• Experience building Control Plane architectures.
• Experience with enterprise-scale AI governance.
• Experience supporting production GenAI workloads.
• Experience building AI platforms within regulated industries.
