BioLegend, Inc. in India seeks a Principal AI Developer to lead finance automation and enterprise integration, shaping AI-driven solutions and mentoring the India AI team across global operations.

You will own end-to-end delivery of AI platforms, drive reliability, and define governance and deployment practices while expanding capabilities in SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall IT experience.

What You'll Do:

Within 30 Days

• Lead technical assessment of current AI automation infrastructure and identify optimization opportunities
• Establish relationships with global finance leadership, IT architecture teams, and regional stakeholders
• Conduct deep-dive analysis of existing SAP, Salesforce, and cloud platform integrations to identify AI enhancement opportunities
• Mentor junior developers and establish technical standards for the India AI development team
• Present strategic roadmap for AI-driven financial automation to senior leadership

Within 60 Days

• Architect and lead development of enterprise-scale AI solutions for financial process automation (P2P, O2C, R2R cycles)
• Design and implement advanced prompt engineering frameworks for complex financial document processing and analysis

Requirements:

Technical Leadership:

• 5+ years of overall IT experience
• 2+ years of enterprise AI/ML development experience with proven track record of scaling production systems

• Expert-level proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, cloud-native architectures, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Enterprise & Finance Domain:

• Extensive experience with SAP modules (FI/CO, S/4HANA, BTP) and/or Salesforce platform development
• Deep understanding of financial processes: accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting
• Experience with enterprise data governance, financial compliance (SOX, GAAP, IFRS), and audit requirements
• Knowledge of real-time data processing, ETL pipelines, and financial data warehousing

Leadership & Communication:
