Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Senior AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) Developer to design, build, and optimize ultra-fast digital experiences on the edge. You will implement a decoupled Git-first workflow, integrate with GitHub and Adobe Cloud Manager, and enable document-based authoring for content teams.

Responsibilities include frontend development with ES6+, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and performance tuning to achieve elite Lighthouse metrics while coordinating with AEM backend

Qualifications

• :3+ years of front-end web development experience, with at least 1+ year in AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) / Project Helix.
• :Proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS with lightweight, high-performance code.
• :Experience with Git/GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
• :Solid understanding of AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager, and EDS integration as origin or composable layer.
• :Familiarity with document-based authoring (Google Docs/Microsoft Word) and Universal Editor tools.
• :Proven ability to optimize Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse metrics.

• Architecture Implementation: Implement and maintain the decoupled Git-first workflow, connecting GitHub with Adobe Cloud Manager and EDS pipelines.
• Authoring Enablement: Configure and support document-based authoring environments and Universal Editor workflows for non-technical content teams.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize front-end code, assets, and sidecar integrations to achieve near-100 Lighthouse performance, accessibility, and SEO scores.
• CDN & Edge Integration: Work with edge architectures and CDN configurations (Fastly, Cloudflare, or Adobe-managed CDN).
• Collaboration: Partner with backend developers, product owners, and content authors to migrate pages and streamline publishing pipelines.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) Developer to help build ultra-fast, high-performing, and scalable digital experiences. In this role, you will leverage AEM's modern EDS architecturemoving away from traditional monolithic setups to a decoupled, Git-first, and edge-delivered paradigm. You will collaborate closely with content authors using document-based authoring (Google Docs/Microsoft Word) or the Universal Editor to deliver lightning-fast web pages optimized for core web vitals and perfect Lighthouse scores.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Core Experience: 3+ years of front-end web development experience, with at least 1+ years dedicated specifically to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Edge Delivery Services (EDS) / Project Helix.
• Technical Stack:
• Advanced proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS (heavy emphasis on lightweight, high-performance front-end code without heavy framework bloat).
• Experience with Git/GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
• AEM Knowledge: Solid understanding of AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager, and how EDS integrates as an origin or composable layer
• Authoring Paradigms: Familiarity with document-based authoring (Google Docs/Microsoft Word SharePoint integrations) and WYSIWYG Universal Editor tools.
• Performance Tuning: Proven track record of optimizing Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID/INP, CLS) and achieving elite Google Lighthouse metrics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Node.js and local EDS boilerplates/development toolchains.
• Knowledge of Edge Functions or server-side extensibility options within AEM.
