Job summary

Terra Global Partners Pvt Ltd in India is seeking a full-time UK accounting professional to onboard clients, prepare bookkeeping and tax reports, and liaise with HMRC. The role requires at least two years of UK accounting experience, strong knowledge of VAT and CIS, and proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, or FreeAgent.

You will work with the senior team to maintain records and ensure compliance. UK working hours with office presence and an emphasis on accuracy, organization, and proactive

Qualifications

• At least two years' experience in a UK accounting role.
• Strong understanding of UK Accounting, Tax, VAT and CIS regulations and reporting requirements.
• At least two years’ experience with multiple VAT schemes alongside experience with monthly and annual CIS returns.
• Methodical and highly organised working skill base.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Client record onboarding and digital conversion.
• Preparation of bookkeeping, accounting and tax compliance reports for internal review (e.g., Management accounts, VAT returns, Sole trader accounts, Statutory accounts, Self assessment, Corporate tax returns).
• Assisting with communications with client and HMRC, including investigations and enquiries.
• Assisting and supporting the senior team in delivering outstanding client service.
• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Providing bookkeeping support to team members.
• Supports seniors with ad-hoc tasks and client work.

Requirements

• Atleast two years’ experience with multiple VAT schemes alongside experience withmonthly and annual CIS returns, inclusive of claims
• Methodicaland highly organised working skill base
