Job summary

ICON Clinical Research in Chennai is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant focused on Transfer Pricing to manage compliance, reporting, and planning across multiple jurisdictions. You will help ICON meet its tax obligations while optimising tax efficiency and managing risk.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in Transfer Pricing, Tax, Accounting or Financial Analysis.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation (Local Files and Master File).
• Assist with transfer pricing benchmarking studies, economic analyses and financial modelling.
• Support quarterly transfer pricing calculations and related accounting adjustments.
• Collect, analyse and validate financial data from global business units.
• Assist with transfer pricing audits and information requests from tax authorities.
• Maintain intercompany agreements and governance documentation.
• Work with Finance, Accounting and business stakeholders to support transfer pricing compliance and operational activities.
• Support process improvement, automation and reporting initiatives within Transfer Pricing.

• + Supporting the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation, including Local Files and Master File updates.

• + Supporting quarterly transfer pricing calculations and related accounting adjustments.
• + Collecting, analysing and validating financial data from global business units.
• + Assisting with transfer pricing audits, tax authority enquiries and information requests.
• + Maintaining intercompany agreements and supporting governance documentation.
• + Working with Finance, Accounting and business stakeholders to support transfer pricing compliance and operational activities.
• + Supporting process improvement, automation and reporting initiatives within the Transfer Pricing function.

Your Profile:

• + Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax or a related discipline.
• + Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
• + 4-7 years of experience in Transfer Pricing, Tax, Accounting or Financial Analysis.
• + Experience within a multinational organisation and/or Big 4 environment preferred.
• + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel capability.
• + Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced global environment.
• + Experience with transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking studies and financial analysis is desirable.
• + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
