Job summary

Ansoim Management Consulting is seeking a Senior Accountant for our multinational client in Ahmedabad to oversee core accounting, GL, and financial reporting. This full-time, on-site role requires ensuring month-end and year-end closes, accurate reconciliations, and compliance with Indian GAAP and applicable tax regulations.

You will support budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow and cost controls, collaborate with consulting teams, and assist audits.

Qualifications

• Strong core accounting skills including GL management and reconciliations.

Role Description

We are helping one of our multinational client in their Organisational Development

The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing core accounting and financial reporting activities. This role includes managing the general ledger, preparing and reviewing financial statements, handling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate month-end and year-end closing. The Senior Accountant will maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, support budgeting and forecasting, and monitor cash flow and cost control initiatives. Day-to-day tasks also involve preparing reconciliations, supporting internal and external audits, improving financial processes and controls, and collaborating with consulting teams to provide financial insights for client projects. The role requires regular coordination with management to present financial analysis, highlight risks, and support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to support strategic decision-making.
• Knowledge of taxation, compliance requirements, and relevant accounting standards (e.g., Indian GAAP, IFRS familiarity is a plus).
• Experience with accounting and ERP software, advanced Excel skills, and comfort working with financial data and reports.
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls, audit support processes, and documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional consulting teams and senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• Prior experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably in consulting, professional services, or a dynamic growth-focused organization.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and the ability to work on-site full-time in Ahmedabad.
