Job summary

Samarth Consultant is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong Tally Prime and Zoho knowledge, plus deep GST and income tax compliance experience. The role demands hands-on ledger management, payroll processing, and timely financial reporting.

The candidate will handle end-to-end accounting functions, including finalization, MIS, and cash flow analysis, collaborating with internal teams to optimize profitability and control.

Qualifications

• Qualified with a postgraduate degree (M.Com) or CA Finalist status.
• Strong knowledge of GST, income tax and statutory compliance.
• Experience in recording entries, payroll, finalization and MIS.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Record & maintain entries in Tally Prime — sales, purchases & expenses.
• Handle e-invoicing & sales bill processing.
• Prepare GST returns: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 & GSTR-2B reconciliation.
• Perform TDS workings, returns & payments; reconcile Form 16/16A/26AS.
• Process payroll — PF, ESIC, PT & MSME compliance.
• Manage weekly BRS and ledger, assist in accounts finalization.
• Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet & cash flow statements.
• Generate MIS reports and conduct profitability & sales analysis.
• Oversee receivables & payables with debtor follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recording & maintaining entries in Tally Prime — sales, purchase & expenses
• Handling e-invoicing & sales bill processing
• GST returns — GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 & GSTR-2B reconciliation
• TDS workings, returns & payments | Form 16, 16A & 26AS reconciliation
• Payroll processing — PF, ESIC, PT & MSME compliance
• Weekly BRS & ledger management
• Accounts finalization — monthly & annual
• P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow statements
• MIS reports, profitability & sales analysis
• Receivables & payables management with debtor follow-ups

Skills Required:

• Tally Prime (hands-on) & ZOHO (working knowledge)
