Job summary

Maharshi Ganatra And Associates in Mumbai is seeking a qualified CA or senior accountant to manage accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting for clients.

You will prepare GST and TDS workings, assist in statutory audits, and supervise junior team members while coordinating with clients to gather information and deliver timely results.

Qualifications

• Qualified or semi-qualified CA with relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws.
• Proficiency in Tally and Excel; client-facing skills.
• Experience in CA firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review GST, TDS workings and other statutory compliances.
• Assist in audits: Statutory, Internal, Tax and GST.
• Support in preparation of financial statements as per applicable standards.
• Conduct ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Assist in income tax return preparation, assessments, and related advisory.
• Work on valuations, due diligence, and related assignments (as required).
• Coordinate with clients for information, clarifications, and deliverables.
• Guide and supervise junior team members (for senior positions).

5. Ability to work independently and meet timelines
6. Experience in a CA firm preferred
