Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the month‑end process globally, including monthly working papers, reconciliations, and variance analysis for global entities.
• Prepare the monthly consolidated chart of accounts and reporting.
• Assist in year‑end audits and statutory audits for all entities worldwide, including corporate and subsidiaries.
• Manage tax compliance through preparation, filing, payment, and reconciliation of advance tax, TDS, and GST returns.
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial and accounting policies and procedures that support a robust control environment.
• Assist the Corporate Controller with the integration of accounting, reporting, and systems for newly established entities.
• Support the Corporate Controller with ad‑hoc reports and special projects.
• Liaise with external accountants, tax authorities, and auditors for financial and tax audits, litigations, and related matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of progressive accounting experience in a mid‑size or public company.
• Chartered Accountant qualification and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Strong technical knowledge in financial reporting and proficiency with a cloud‑based accounting system.
• Excellent analytical skills and thorough understanding of accounting principles and reporting standards.
• Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and exposure to ERP environments.
• Strong organizational abilities, capable of multitasking and working under pressure.
• Meticulous attention to detail and effective communication skills.
