The ideal candidate should have experience with US-GAAP, general accounting, account reconciliations, Power BI dashboards, and automation of accounting processes.

Role & Responsibilities

• Creating and recording complex journal entries in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and with respective supporting documentation with an understanding of the financial statement impact
• Reconcile, research and resolve complex general ledger accounts to minimize risk and protect company assets as well as document the findings for management.
• Perform comprehensive research and analysis; ability to present and explain results.
• Assists in the development, implementation and ensures compliance with policies and procedures. Establishes “Best Practices” and formulate solutions as it relates to creating efficiencies and automations.
• Special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficient in Excel at an intermediate or higher level.
• Experience in Power BI
• Experience in US GAAP
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, detail-orientated and the ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
