Qualifications

• 3+ years of Public Relations experience, specializing in Consumer Technology clients.
• Bachelor degree in Communications or related discipline.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools across communications programmes.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on clients, industries and competitors by reading materials.
• Organize client brainstorms and calls; propose informed, value-adding recommendations.
• Develop press materials, messages, and other client-facing communications.
• Maintain media relationships and monitor news for client benefit.
• Create reports and campaign summaries; support press events as needed.
• Track social media trends and build influencer relationships.

Burson India is looking for a Senior Public Relations Executive to join our Gurugram team and work with leading Consumer Technology clients. As a Senior Public Relations Executive, you are expected to actively be involved in the day-to-day execution of client activities under the supervision and guidance of senior team members. You will contribute to Burson – India’s performance by supporting the seniors in the team to manage client relationships and integrated communication (IC) programs, satisfying, and delighting clients and generating new business. What You Will Do

• Stay updated on all your clients, their industries, and competitors by actively reading articles, press materials, marketing collateral and strategy documents.
• Help organize and participate in client brainstorm meetings and calls and never hesitate to ask informed questions and make creative recommendations; understand what is being done and how it adds value to your clients.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills to support the senior team to develop quality materials such as press releases, messages etc.
• Maintain relationships with prominent media members inside and outside your clients’ industries and stay current on any news that can be used for the benefit of clients
• Be responsible to create professional, actionable client-facing communications, status reports, campaign summary reports and general account activity reports.
• Assist in press materials development and support the preparation of press events.
• Stay updated on social media trends and build relationships with key influencers and community contacts to optimize channels.

Experience That Contributes To Success

• 3+ years of Public Relations experience, specializing in Consumer Technology clients.
• Bachelor degree in Communications or related discipline
• You must possess a strong familiarity with how Generative AI tools are used across communications programmes, especially in planning, research, ideation, content creation, and daily operations to drive relevance and efficiency
