Job summary

Burson India in Gurugram is seeking a Senior Public Relations Executive to join our team. You will manage day-to-day client activities, support integrated communication programs, and help grow client relationships across leading Consumer Technology brands.

You will work under senior guidance to ensure impactful communications and profitability, in a dynamic hybrid setup. You will contribute to client strategy and daily operations, staying current with media trends and leveraging AI tools to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field.
• 3+ years of Public Relations experience, Consumer Technology focus preferred.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools in communications planning and content creation.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on clients, industries, and competitors through articles and press materials.
• Organize and participate in client brainstorms and calls; propose informed, creative recommendations.
• Develop high-quality materials such as press releases and messages with strong writing skills.

Burson India is looking for a Senior Public Relations Executive to join our Gurugram team and work with leading Consumer Technology clients. As a Senior Public Relations Executive, you are expected to actively be involved in the day-to-day execution of client activities under the supervision and guidance of senior team members. You will contribute to Burson - India's performance by supporting the seniors in the team to manage client relationships and integrated communication (IC) programs, satisfying, and delighting clients and generating new business. You are required to support our corporate strategy and your practice or office to help ensure superior client service, a winning culture and profitability.

Client Service

What You Will Do

• Stay updated on all your clients, their industries, and competitors by actively reading articles, press materials, marketing collateral and strategy documents.


• Help organize and participate in client brainstorm meetings and calls and never hesitate to ask informed questions and make creative recommendations; understand what is being done and how it adds value to your clients.


• Have strong verbal and written communication skills to support the senior team to develop quality materials such as press releases, messages etc.


• Maintain relationships with prominent media members inside and outside your clients’ industries and stay current on any news that can be used for the benefit of clients


• Be responsible to create professional, actionable client-facing communications, status reports, campaign summary reports and general account activity reports.


• Assist in press materials development and support the preparation of press events.


• Stay updated on social media trends and build relationships with key influencers and community contacts to optimize channels.

Experience That Contributes To Success

• 3+ years of Public Relations experience, specializing in Consumer Technology clients.


• Bachelor degree in Communications or related discipline


• You must possess a strong familiarity with how Generative AI tools are used across communications programmes, especially in planning, research, ideation, content creation, and daily operations to drive relevance and efficiency
