Job summary

KVC CONSULTANTS LTD in Chennai seeks a Selenium Automation Tester to join our QA team. You will develop and maintain test automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver in Java, and help build hybrid/data-driven/BDD frameworks.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on automation experience, functional and regression testing, and the ability to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. WFO profile, no internship/trainee eligibility.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience in TestNG/JUnit / Cucumber BDD framework.
• Familiarity with Maven/Gradle build tools.
• Knowledge of OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Understanding of XPath, CSS selectors.

• An automation engineer with 3+ Years of experience in Selenium Automation in automating web application testing, ensuring functional reliability and scalability


• Salary may vary depending on last drawn.

Job Description:

• Develop test automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java


• Create and maintain frameworks such as Hybrid, Data-driven, or BDD

(TestNG/JUnit/Cucumber)

• Execute functional, regression, and smoke testing


• Handle web elements, waits, alerts, frames, and windows


• Perform cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)


• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines


• Generate detailed test reports (Extent Reports, Allure)


• Identify defects, log bugs, and collaborate with developers


• Maintain test data and environment configurations

Required Skills
