Responsibilities

• Monitoring and Surveillance: Patrol the premises regularly (on foot or by vehicle). Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems. Watch for suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Access Control: Check identification of employees and visitors. Issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs. Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Emergency Response: Respond quickly to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security threats. Contact emergency services (police, fire department, ambulance) when necessary. Assist in evacuation procedures.
• Reporting and Documentation: Write daily activity reports. Record incidents, accidents, or unusual activities. Maintain accurate logs of security checks and patrols.
• Enforcement of Company Policies: Ensure employees and visitors follow workplace rules. Address violations such as trespassing, theft, or unsafe behavior. Report policy violations to management.
• Customer Service: Provide directions and assistance to visitors. Answer basic questions about the facility. Maintain a professional and respectful attitude.
• Loss Prevention: Help prevent theft, vandalism, and property damage. Inspect bags or vehicles when required (according to company policy). Secure doors, windows, and gates.
• Safety Inspections: Check fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and safety equipment. Identify potential hazards and report them to management.
